Alloy Tubing and Pipe

Includes grades such as 4130, 4140/42, 8620, 52100 and others. These alloys are primarily Iron with one or more elements added. These alloying elements include but are not limited to carbon, aluminum, chromium, manganese, silicon, nickel, and titanium. Combining these elements produces a product with characteristics that can be superior to mild or low carbon steels for tensile and yield strength. furthermore, alloys can offer superior toughness, machine-ability and hardness. Alloys generally are more responsive than carbon steels to mechanical and heat treating.
