A106HF (OD&Wall) – ASTM Specifications

A106 Standard specification for seamless carbon steel pipe for high-temperature service. Pipe ordered under this specification shall be suitable for bending, flanging, and similar forming operations and for welding. Produced to special outside diameter tolerance. Furnished in one of three grades, A, B, or C.

Typical Permissible Variations in Wall Thickness
The minimum wall thickness at any point shall not be more that 12.5% under the specified wall thickness
Typical Permissible Variations in Outside Diameter
For pipe over 10 inch [250 mm] ordered as special outside diameter tolerance pipe, the outside diameter shall not vary by more than 1% over or 1% under the specified outside diameter.
